Christmas Luncheon and Auction

Arrowhead Golf Club
Our Christmas luncheon was held at the Arrowhead Golf Club. In addition to it being a wonderful social event, we enjoyed a fine lunch and we had a fun and successful raffle session and auction with a very humorous Mike Gresk handling the emcee job.
Each member was asked to donate a raffle prize or bags of food worth $25.00 or more. Many Lions brought both.
The food filled up a van and we also received checks for $150.00. The money along with the food was donated to the People’s Resource Center in Wheaton.
The auction raised $1,550.00 and raffle ticket sales raised $1,721.00 for a total of $3,271.00. This money will be used for aid to people with sight and hearing disabilities in our community.

Christmas Luncheon
Our Christmas luncheon was held on Tuesday, December 13th, 2011 at the Arrowhead Golf Club. The money raised will helped to aid people within our community with sight and hearing disabilities.
