The Wheaton Lions welcomed a member of the St Francis Spartan Robotics team and a member of Roaring Robotics at our meeting this week.
Both speakers are affiliated with FIRST Robotics. (FIRST is an acronym - "For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology") and is a global robotics community preparing young people for the future and the world's leading youth-serving nonprofit advancing STEM education.
They brought robots with them which they designed and built with their mentors and teams. We had a great time learning from them and seeing their robots in action!
