Our luncheon on Jan 17th was held at Edison Middle School’s library in Wheaton. We took the opportunity to introduce Pauline Saucedo, an Edison student, to our club members. Pauline was one of hundreds of young students who submitted an original Peace Poster painting to the International Lions Club. She won a Illinois State Lions Club award and the District 1-J Calendar has a photo of her poster painting in it. We had her painting framed and presented it to her at lunch. She was at the luncheon along with her mother, the school principal, art teacher, assistant principal and fellow Lion Jeff Schuler, the School District 200 Supervisor.
