Bridge Communities is one of DuPage County’s most powerful forces for change — providing transitional housing, financial counseling, career coaching, childcare support, and long‑term stability for families experiencing homelessness. Their model doesn’t just offer shelter; it builds independence, restores confidence, and helps families rewrite their future.
Kristin shared stories of resilience, partnership, and the incredible outcomes made possible when a community steps up for its neighbors. Her passion for empowering families reminds us why organizations like Bridge Communities matter so deeply in DuPage County.

RAYMOND MUNCH

The Wheaton Lions had the privilege of hosting Wheaton’s new City Manager, Raymond Munch. Raymond as he shared his goals and priorities for the City of Wheaton — focusing on strong community and keeping our city moving forward with purpose.
We are grateful for his time, his leadership, and his commitment to serving our residents and community.

CAITLYN BRENNAN
Organization: 100 Club of Illinois

The Wheaton Lions were honored to welcome leaders from the 100 Club of Illinois at our recent meeting, thanks to fellow Lion Anthony Chereso, CEO of The Inland Real Estate Group and board member of the 100 Club, for making the connection.
We were grateful to hear from CEO Caitlyn Brennan and President Michael Meagher, who shared the powerful mission behind the 100 Club’s work. When a first responder in Illinois falls in the line of duty, the 100 Club provides immediate financial assistance of up to $50,000 to surviving spouses. They also invest in the future of families by offering higher‑education assistance of up to $20,000 per semester for spouses and children.
Beyond financial support, the 100 Club ensures families are connected with trauma‑informed, culturally competent resources during the most difficult moments of their lives.
Their message is a profound reminder: while we can never repay the sacrifices made by our first responders, we can honor their legacy by standing with the families they leave behind. The Wheaton Lions are proud to spotlight and support this vital work.
