The Lions organization has been an advocate of the visually impaired for over a century and blindness prevention is our long-standing mission. The efforts of Lions in the field of vision correction are comprehensive.

Strategic Objective: Prevent avoidable blindness, restore vision and improve the life quality for those who are visually impaired.

HEARING
Auditory damage may create a devastating effect on the daily lives of those affected. Hearing loss has been linked to a decline in the quality of relationships, depression and even heart disease.

Strategic Objective: Promote regular hearing check-ups and screenings to identify hearing loss at an early stage and prevent hearing loss through education and medical care.
 

DIABETES
Diabetes prevention is a signature Lions Club goal worldwide. Diabetes can lead to serious health complications and is the leading cause of cardiovascular disease and blindness.

Strategic Objective: Reduce the prevalence of diabetes in our community through education and resources designed to improve the quality of life for those living with diabetes.
 

HUNGER
Hunger and poor nutrition impact an ever-growing percentage of our population and we are dedicated to supporting hunger relief initiatives in our community.

Strategic Objective: Provide financial support, educational programs and initiatives to increase access to wholesome and nutritious foods for those most vulnerable.
 

ENVIRONMENT

We all have a responsibility to keep our planet clean, safe and healthy for future generations. Stewardship of natural resources can improve the quality of life and increase awareness in our local communities.

Strategic Objective: Sustainably protect and restore our environment to improve the well-being of our community through education and action.
 

CHILDREN'S PEDIATRIC CANCER
The family is the nucleus around which most communities are built. Lions have seen and felt the effects of cancer on children and their families. We continue to bring hope through our financial support for cancer research and improved services.

Strategic Objective: Support those families affected by childhood cancer and increase the survival rate of all children diagnosed with cancer.
