Wheaton Lions President, Mayor Phil Suess spoke at this week's meeting. Lions had an opportunity to have a town hall style Q&A about what is going on around Wheaton. We learned about some of the construction projects underway and about the City's sidewalk plans.

Organization: Community Unit School District 200

The Wheaton Lions welcomed Dr. Jeff Schuler, Superintendent of Community Unit School District 200 at our meeting this week. Dr. Schuler shared information about the referendum for which the school district is seeking voter approval.

Our speaker was Randi Chambers, Development Officer, Corporate & Foundation Giving from the Northern Illinois Food Bank. She spoke about the efforts of the food bank and the benefit they had offered our community in their 40 years.
